We are selling tickets for the Friday, April 25th performance of Langham Court Theatre's production of The Penelopiad.

We're priced tickets at:

$15 for adults
$10 for students/seniors

We are able to accept cash and cheques made payable to Victoria High School (put "Improv Club" in the subject line).

The Penelopiad is Margaret Atwood’s brilliant re-imagining of Homer’s Odyssey from the wry eye of Penelope, Odysseus’s devoted and long-suffering wife. Brimming with movement, light, and song, the play is a feast for the eyes and mind.

Audience Advisory: Some Violence, Sexuality, and Mature Themes. Suitable for ages 15+

Canadian Improv Games 2015 Senior Semi-Finals, Junior Finals & Senior Finals hosted by Vic High

Great things are happening this upcoming Family Day Weekend at the Victoria High School! We are playing host to the 2015 CIG Island Semi-Finals, Junior Cup and Island Finals! Teams from all over Vancouver Island are converging at this event starting Friday, February 6th, 2015. In addition to the performances, there will be workshops that are available to all participating school CIG teams, regardless of whether or not they are competing that weekend. Christmas Tree Chipping Fundraiser a success!

We are very excited to have been invited to attend the Berlin Improv Festival in March 2014! This will be the first time ever in the festival’s 13 year history where they have hosted a high school improv group and we’re excited to be part of this unique event! Over their 10 day stay in Berlin, our students will participate in 4 days of workshops from two different instructors (not from the US or Canada) and will perform for a local school audience at the end. They also will be enjoying the festival performances and taking time to visit the historic city of Berlin itself. For a group of 16 students, the total cost is $32,000 CDN which includes their return airfare, ground transportation, accommodations, workshops and access to the festival. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 to help reduce the per student cost to approximately $1,600.
